The staff is super friendly but I guess maybe my expectations were too high. My pup has separation anxiety so I take him to daycare instead of leaving him home alone. In addition to that, when I am working from home I want him to be able to go somewhere and play and have fun with other dogs while getting his exercise. This place could work for people with older dogs or dogs that are fine alone but my pup was there 4 hours and played the first 20 min that I dropped him off. The rest of the time he was back in a stall alone. I dropped him off around 11:50 and he played maybe 30 minutes Max (they said 20) and then back to the stall he went. I was told there is a lunch break for an hour. I looked at 1-230 didn’t see him. More than half that time all play areas were empty. I checked again at 345, he wasn’t out there. It seems like the entire time he was there minus the 20-30 in the beginning he was back in a stall. I hate that, it’s pointless for me to send him to daycare so he can play bur instead out of the almost 4 hours he was there he played 20-30 min and spent 3.5 hours alone in his own stall. Definitely won’t be coming back. My pup has separation anxiety, day care is for him to not feel alone otherwise I would leave him at home where he’s more comfortable. Also not sure why there aren’t cameras in the stall areas.

My Shih Tzu has been attending Pet Paradise doggy day camp for a couple of years now and I highly recommend the site. The staff is very familiar with him even though he doesn't go as often. The establishment is always really clean and the staff are always friendly. Be mindful that there are certain play hours for the dogs and get that info up front to have clear expectations. I was really thrown off their process at first. You can navigate through the website easily and they have events such as wacky Wednesday's and holiday specials. Check them out!

Finally found a daycare that convinced me I didn't have to worry about my babies, outside of my care. I felt they truly cared about my loved ones, just as much as I do. It showed in the day to day. Thank you for being trustworthy.

I'm giving it two stars b/c most of the staff are friendly and the outside play areas are large (when the dogs are taken out to play, which is done erratically and inconsistently; your dog could go several hours without being taken outside). Don't believe it when they tell you your dog will get 3 hours outside every day, because it most likely won't even be close to that. We took Rocket here for almost a year before we were told we weren't allowed back after being 8 minutes late to pick him up on a Sunday. When my husband Josh dropped Rocket off that morning, the manager Roger told Josh they were overbooked (had 150 dogs there that day) and that they couldn't guarantee Rocket any time outside. I was very upset to hear this from Josh (and would've taken Rocket elsewhere if we hadn't had an appointment to get to) and had initially planned to ask for a discount for the day in light of all this, but I decided to drop it since we were 8 minutes late picking Rocket up. When I got there to pick up Rocket (we called on the way there), Roger curtly and impolitely told me we had to pick our dog up on time. Roger told me he was struggling to get a dog his medication, implying that was my fault for being late to get Rocket (I'm not sure how being late means he can't give a dog its medication, but it certainly reinforces the concerns I had that they weren't capable of giving my dog his Heartguard chew when we boarded him). I was pretty taken aback, particularly given what had happened that morning, and I said so. Roger told me that since I didn't like his services, I couldn't come back ever again. Given how extreme and bizarre Roger's terrible customer service was, we figured he was just stressed over having to attend to overpacked dog kennels and figured he'd go back to normal on Tuesday, 6/1. Nope. He told my husband he would take Rocket the rest of the week but that I wasn't allowed to pick him up (had I known this, I would've told my husband to bring him home and never leave him there again, since I'm not leaving my fur baby with a man who says he'll hold him hostage from me). That night, I went to cancel all future reservations online (so I could stop getting notifications and to ensure I wouldn't be charged), but Roger had already blocked my account, and I couldn't do so. Besides having an unprofessional manager, Las Colinas is also the dirtiest of 5 daycares we've taken Rocket to (4 in the Dallas area). Even before the Ridiculous Roger incident, I would sometimes work from home when I could just so I wouldn't have to deal with my dog smelling like a mix of a urinal and chemicals when we picked him up. It was so bad, I even asked if what they're using to clean the fake grass with is safe for dogs. Getting kicked out by Roger was a blessing in disguise, b/c it forced me to be less lazy and try a few other places that are less convenient but where Rocket gets to play more and doesn't leave absolutely filthy.
