Always great food and great service here. I've never had a bad experience. I've been for several dinners and several of their Sunday brunches. They are never a letdown. The Sunday Bloody Mary and mimosas are also spectacular. This place is a little on the pricey side but it's worth every penny you'll pay. You can dress casual, or dress up, as you'll see all kinds in here.
The patio at Granite City is one of the nicest places to dine outside in the Peoria area, in our opinion. I really like the beer flight, in which you can try 4 different beers. Moreover, the food and service were very good last evening. (And you can purchase $100 in Granite City gift cards at Costco for $80 :)
I hadn't been to Granite City for over 2 years because the food was cold and rather bland on that visit and for the price you pay that is not acceptable. I decided to give them another shot and the food was good and the server was fine but I will not tolerate being being pestered by fruit flies. A fruit fly infestation indicates someone isn't cleaning properly and there are enough restaurants in the area to keep me from returning for the foreseeable future.
Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent beer. Their in house brewery makes some wonderful beer that is easy on taste buds. All of the food I tried and different beer I tried were all great. I'll definitely be going back on my next visit to Peoria.
The cauliflower wings were amazing. I had then Mediterranean shrimp scamp which was also very good and my husband had the bison burger. Kelley was a great server. She was really friendly and came back to check on us frequently. I like the outdoor seating area because you can see the river. The Bennie beer was our favorite and the others were also good, but mild flavor.
