Blooming Desert Pools And Landscapes

Exceptional group of professionals. Matt did the design incorporating what we wanted and did one better by creating an outstanding landscape and pool design that more then met out expectations. He stayed with in our budget and incorporated everything we wanted. Landscape crew was outstanding lead by Kenneth. They work hard and produce a quality landscape. More plants than other landscapers we received quotes from. They stand by their work. They aim to please. Pool is exceptionally well done. This is the 3rd pool I have had constructed and the pool construction lead by Dan was the best I have ever had by far. They were very responsive to our needs and aimed to please. Highly recommended.

I was delighted with Blooming Desert's work when they put in our front and back yard for our new house! We worked with J, who designed the landscape after talking with us to understand our needs and what we liked. He handled everything with understanding and professionalism from start to finish, and his design ended up looking even better, once put in, than it looked on paper! That is a sure sign of someone with a lot of experience in knowing what will and won't look good! BD did a great job, not only installing our yard when they promised and in the time-frame they promised (which was quick), but they supported us in every way, answering questions, coming out immediately when needed. In the end, we have a yard we're extremely happy with at a good value and obvious quality. Thanks for making this a great experience, J and BD team!

Three years ago, Blooming Desert was hired to complete a $60,000 landscape renovation on the home we purchased. See Paul Anders review below. He had a similar experience. The masonry is falling apart everywhere around the entire house where they installed, they covered the sewer clean outs in the front yard with tile, this was one thing they did fix bc it was a code violation. They did not apply drip lines to some of the plants around the yard, and didn't run drip line through the pvc to get to potted our plants, which sit on top of columns, they and are now leaking all over the place, but from the inside, so now the columns need to be redone as well because mineral build up and dripping water is ruining them. Since there is no pvc we can’t run a new line. There is poorly installed lighting which is now falling apart, including barbecue light etc. When we called them they said everything was out of warranty and they refused make things right. Do not use this company, you run the risk of being taken financially and having shoddy work done. Maybe they have different teams that do better work, but whoever worked on this yard gets a failing grade. They should take care of the problems that they created especially for a renovation that cost $60,000. When we asked the sellers about their experience they said they were very disappointed and have discouraged others from using them.

BD did our landscaping in early 2018. This was for a small front and backyard. Hardscape work, irrigation, lighting, and other electrical was all excellent, the work was timely, and communications were excellent. Pricing was at the top-end of the scale. However, there were several issues. BD did not secure approval from our HOA prior to doing the work, despite agreeing to do this and their being the developer's recommended landscaper. This led to a number of problems that took a few months to resolve. Another problem was the warranty on the plants. Desert plants take at least a year to get established, but BD's plant warranty is only 90 days. I had three plants die when the heat came on, they replaced them, and then they died within a month, and BD wouldn't replace them. I ended up replacing them with plants from Lowe's that have a 1-year unconditional warranty. Upon planting, I discovered why the plants had died, the plants had been infested with grubs from the beginning. The plants I've placed have lived through two hard freezes and look great. BD also put in a fountain pot in our backyard, a custom install with a pot we picked out. In less than 2 years, the control valve inside the pot broke off. BD had used valve hardware that was not rated for underwater use - made of steel - and it rotted away. Again, outside of BD's warranty and not covered. Lastly, the landscape lights are all low-voltage low-current LED lighting, premium fixtures. LED lights typically last 20 years or more. Two of the projector lights failed in less than two years. Again, outside of BD's warranty and not covered. I'm really not that picky. I just want the stuff I put in to work and last a reasonable amount of time. I just want all the paperwork done correctly. While I feel BD did a very good job on the installation and setup, they did a very poor job covering their work when it's obvious there were problems. Considering that they charge about 30% more than other landscapers for doing similar work, I expect above and beyond support. It wasn't delivered. EDITED: Purchased new LED bulbs from Sprinkler World for $8 each and installed them myself in 10 minutes. Making a warrant claim with the manufacturer, they have a 7-year warranty it turns out. BD wanted to charge me $70 just to come out, and a per hour charge to replace the bulbs, plus the cost of the bulbs. As I said before, I'm not picky. This was a minor issue. But if they're going to act this way about two bulbs they get for $8 each or less that are under warranty, you have to wonder how they'd act if anything expensive came up that they decided not to honor.

Don’t use this company! There employees have no respect for your home or your property. They Will park on your yard and leave trash everywhere. They just don’t care !
